  11.   RUB is a file removal utility for DOS.
  12.  
  13.   RUB has been tested on the following systems:

  15.                                DOS 3.3 - DOS 7
  16.                                WIN 3.1 - WIN 95

  21.  RUB was built to make file removal EASY and PERMANENT (keep that in mind).

  23.  RUB is not intended to replace the dos function DEL. It is recomended that 
  24.      you use RUB when you really don't want anybody to see that file again.

  26.  Cautions:
  27.  
  28.       RUB ignores the read-only flag.
  29.       RUB is fully capable of removing system files after the /SYSTEM switch 
  30.           is enabled and/orin a tree removal.
  31.       RUB is also capable of removing hidden files after the /H switch and/or in 
  32.            a tree removal.
  33.       RUB ignores the directory locking function in a tree removal.
  34.       RUBLOCK will only affect RUB. All other file utilities will work 
  35.            normaly.
  36.       After you RUB it out, you won't get it back.

  38.   Notes:

  40.        RUB will proccess all funcional command line switches in the order 
  41.             they come.
  42.        RUB can be stopped safely at any time by pressing "ctrl c" or  
  43.             "ctrl break".
  44.        The current file will be closed and the FAT will be updated correctly 
  45.             (better than DEL).

  55.      C:\>RUB [file] /tree [directory] /3 [file] /lock /1 [file]

  57.               /TREE......[target directory]   RUB  directories
  58.               /SYSTEM....RUB system files
  59.               /[0 - 9]...number of over-writes for each file (default:1)
  60.               /H.........RUB hidden files
  61.  
  62.               /?.........command line options
  63.               /P.........prompt for each file or directory
  64.               /LOCK......to lock the current directory (RUBLOCK)
  65.               /UNLOCK....unlocks the current directory
  66.               /PROD......about RUB

  72.           RUB will remove any directory specified following this switch.
  73.           Only one directory can be specified per /TREE switch.
  74.           The current directory CAN be removed.

  78.           This will turn on RUB's ability to RUB system files.

  80.                c:\>RUB c:\*.txt /system c:\dos\*.io

  82.           Would first remove any file in the root\home directory with
  83.               the extension '.txt' excluding HIDDEN and SYSTEM files.
  84.               Then RUB would remove any file in the c:\dos directory with 
  85.               the '.io' extention including any SYSTEM files with the '.io' 
  86.               extention.
  87.           Once the switch is enabled, it cannot be disabled untill RUB 
  88.               terminates.
  89.           Normally, system files are ignored. Hence the wild card

  98.           Tells RUB how many times to over-write the file.
  99.           Default is one (1) times over-write.
  100.           This switch can be used multiple times.

  104.           Would first remove 'read.me' with 1 times over-write.
  105.           Second RUB will remove 'fred.pgp' with 7 times over-write.
  106.           Then RUB will remove 'instruc.doc' and 'ivp.exe' with 0 over-writes.
